Mission Statement
The NAICP's (North American Institute of Construction Professionals) purpose is to provide workplace training and certification for the construction trades, and to be a resource for Professional Contractors and Certified tradespeople.
The NAICP serves all communities and has identified special needs within certain segments, particularly:
• Economically disadvantaged persons regardless of sex, race, or nationality
• Native Americans
• Hispanics
• Teens and Young Adults
The NAICP aims to assist any member of the labor force to improve their status and their standard of living by integrating more seamlessly within the business community in a meaningful way. We believe that the business community, as well as the community at large, can only benefit from properly trained construction professionals. Workers earn more, employers save more by preventing costly mistakes, and consumers benefit from better constructed, safer, and higher quality projects.The NAICP strives to provide a useful workforce of qualified and properly trained individuals for the construction fields through training, certification, and job/match resources programs.
